Amazon LED Banana Neon Sign Review
Today is delivery day and I am unboxing the Banana Neon Light from Amazon. I will also be reviewing this Neon sign and hanging it so you can see what it looks like delivered, as well as what it looks like hanging for all you home décor enthusiasts.
For anyone familiar with Youtuber Daniel Schiffer, this banana neon light will look very familiar to you, as its the one hanging behind him in a lot of his videos. There’s just something very endearing about a neon light. Looking at them just fills you with warmth, wouldn't you agree?
The issue with neon signs is that they can be quite expensive, not just that but they can be easy to break the glass and the running of the lights can be quite costly too. LED signs don’t have that issue. They are usually made with plastic or rubber tubbing, cheaper to buy and are far more energy-efficient
But are they any good? I put that exact question to the test with Amazon’s LED neon banana sign, found here on Amazon UK and here on Amazon USA. Purchasing the Banana one which I have covered on a previous neon sign article found here: The 27+ must have bar neon signs for the cheap price of £31.99 or $29.99. Technically it was a birthday present so I didn’t actually spend a penny. Which also leads to the question, would this LED neon sign make a good Birthday or Christmas present? The answer… Yes it would.

Unboxing, Reviewing and Hanging the Neon Sign

Unboxing
Unboxing wise there wasn’t a problem to be had. It was delivered fast (but I guess that’s Amazon prime for you) and was in great condition.
Comes with the light itself nicely wrapped, a USB cord to plug it in and an adhesive hanger to stick it on a wall. I opted to not use the adhesive hanger because I didn’t trust its durability. However its a great addition especially for those like myself in rented homes.
One thing to note is that it does not come with a plug. Not a big issue, almost everyone has a USB port plug for there phones. However, this does mean if you want it plugged in 24/7 that you’ll have to buy another plug if you don’t have one layering around
Review
First Impressions:
First impressions, its bigger then I thought. Which is great. I always worry with cheap neon lights that they are going to turn out to be tiny, but if you watch the video above you can see that its a pretty decent size!
Lighting:
Of course we must discuss the light. This is LED operated so the big question is do you get that big warm lighting you’d expect from a neon sign. The answer is yes! yes you do. The light looks identical to what you see with the bigger expensive neon’s.
Value for money:
Amazing value for money, considering this is basically £30 what you get is great. If I were to spend £50 on this light I’d be just as thrilled. The value for money is a straight 10 out of 10
