With Cinco de mayo just around the corner (May 5th) you might be looking for some recipes to help you celebrate. There’s plenty of resources online to help you out with that, here on Smartblend you can check out the Tequila recipes tap right here. Or expand your knowledge base with some tequila related guides such as;

As you can tell, I really like talking about tequila…

But what I also like to talk about and what you will hear me mention time and time again here on Smartblend, is mindful drinking and the importance of balance. Cinco de mayo is a great excuse to sip Margaritas from sundown to sunrise. But what about if you don’t drink or don’t want to drink? Perhaps you want to take things slow or have a completely dry Cinco de mayo.

If that is the case, then you are going to need some alcohol free options to celebrate, which are a lot harder to find, especially in comparison to all the cinco de mayo alcoholic resources on the web.

So with that thought in mind, and my favourite non-alcoholic brand Lyre’s recently bringing there Tequila substitute range of Lyre’s Agave Reserva Spirit and Lyre’s Agave Blanco Spirit out in the UK, I put together a list of 5 classic Tequila cocktails made completely alcohol free for your sober enjoyment this Cinco de mayo.

Check out my entire list below.
