The Lemon Pie Martini - French Eurovision Cocktail Recipe
Whether its to celebrate Eurovision or you just want to know what a lemon pie cocktail tastes like. This French cocktail recipe is a great way to do just that.
It also happens to taste like a fresh slice of Lemon Pie! But I’m assuming you guessed that already…
How to make a cocktail French
There’s a few ways to make a cocktail fit the theme of a country.
You could make it look like the country. Check out this Ukraine cocktail for an example of just that. It’s colours match the Ukraine flag, blue and yellow.
You could also garnish the cocktail with something that would suit a country. Like this Eurovision cocktail that represents the UK garnished with English strawberries and mint.
The last option is to use ingredients and flavours that represent that country. Which is actually what we’re doing with this cocktail made easy by Flävar - A Swedish Schnapps brand infused with Swedish flavours. Yet this particular flavour is of lemon pie. Typically something you will see on French dessert menus.
But just in case you thought that was a loose connection, we’re also adding in a healthy glug of French Vodka.

And oh my god let me be the first to tell you. This tastes just like lemon pie! It’s also a new release from the guys at Flävar so that’s exciting.

Lemon Pie Martini - A French Themed Cocktail
Ingredients
Instructions
- Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
- Using the back of a spoon, slowly pour over a layer of cream.
- Top with a sprinkling of sugar then use a blowtorch to caramelise the sugar.
Notes
Top tip
You can also caramelise the sugar before adding it to the drink. Simply pour sugar on a heat proof surface and torch it. Leave to cool then drop that over the top of your finished cocktail.
